TWO OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Click on the photos to view them up-close!  I love Hot Chocolate and I almost always drink it from one of my many antique teacups.  This teacup is from a set of china that belonged to my husband's parents.  The china was passed down to us and will one day be passed down to our son.  The china pattern is SUNRISE by HOMER LAUGHLIN COMPANY.  Be sure to leave me a comment to let me know how you liked my layout!

This is a close-up of the matted picture on my layout. I added grosgrain ribbon photo corners to the photo and matted the photo with the butterfly cardstock. I went around the edges of the butterfly photo mat with a "Chocolate" stamp pad. Then, I used 3-D foam Tape under the photo mat to pop it off the page....you can't really see that in the photos, but it looks amazing  the way it pops off the page.  I added an antique dangling crystal heart earring to the photo corner. I cut the screw part of the earring off with wire cutters and glued the earring to the photo corner using Liquid Glass.  Liquid Glass is a VERY strong clear adhesive that works great for holding embellishments on your artwork.
I hope you have been inspired!  Be sure to leave me a comment, if you can.  Comments are always loved and appreciated!

BEST OF TIMES

These are the 4 pages I designed and assembled for everyone to make at the June Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. Everyone gets a complete package of the "All Out Adventure" Rub-Ons (3 - 6"x12" sheets of rub-ons). All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit. You can order a workshop kit for $20 (+ shipping, if you do not live local).
The image in the top left hand corner (pictured above) is a rub-on.  I ran a 6"x12" piece of Bamboo cardstock through a Paper Crimper, tore it into 3 equal sized pieces, tore around edges and inked edges and surface of the pieces with Chocolate ink.  The large mat in the center will hold two 4"x6" photos.  I left the large photo mat open at the top for a pocket to add extra photos, momentos, and journaling.  I added the KEY ribbon to the bottom of the photo mat by gluing it ONLY to the back of the mat, so that the photos can slide under the ribbon.
The chocolate compass and gears are rub-ons...the silver washer and gold clock are heat embossed.
The strip of gears across the top of the layout, pictured above, are rub-ons.  The photo mat will hold a 5"x7" photo.  I left the mat open at the top to form a pocket.
The pocket watch (pictured above) was stamped using the KEY MOMENTS stamp set and Chocolate, Black, Brown Bag, and Desert Sand stamp pads.
The keys (pictured above) were stamped using the KEY MOMENTS stamp set with black ink and were tied together with hemp.
The clock/watch faces (pictured above) are from the ENJOY LIFE stamp set. The clock faces and gears were heat embossed using VersaMark, Gold Embossing Powder, and Silver Embossing Powder.
The gears are from the "ENJOY LIFE" and "Make It Count" stamp sets.  Make It Count" is retired and is no longer available.

All-out Adventure Rub-ons ONLY $5.00!!!  WAS $9.95!!!!  comes with 3 (6"x12") sheets of rub-ons with applicator. You get one sheet in each of the following colors: Black, Chocolate and White Daisy.   These rub-ons are retired, but I have 1 available for $5 (Retail $9.95) + shipping, if you do not live local.

I hope you have been inspired!  Be sure to leave me a comment.  Comments are always loved and appreciated!

A CUP OF TEA

"A mother's love is like a cup of tea....

they are always there to comfort you."

These are the 4 pages I  designed and assembled for everyone to make at the May Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. Everyone gets a complete package of the Mini-Medley Accents Pacifica Collection (Collection Contents: 1 - Frame, 2 - Square Tags, 2 - Slider Tabs, 8 - Buttons, 6 - Bigger Brads, 12 - Brads, 1 yd. Ribbon). All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit.  You can order a workshop kit, if you do not live local for $20 + shipping.

I used the Pemberley Paper Pack to make all of layouts.  The spoon was heat embossed using the VersaMark Ink Pad and Silver Embossing Powder.  The VersaMark Ink Pad lasts a loooong time!  I have had mine for several years without adding more ink to it!

The teacups and spoon are from the "A Sip" stamp set. The flowers on this page are from the "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set.

Baroque Alphabet (includes 30 stamps 1.5" tall).  The flourishes are from the "You and Me" stamp set.....this was a limited edition stamp set.

The metal frame around the "M" is from the Mini-Medley Accents Pacifica Collection.

The teapot and teacups on this page are from the "Tea Time" stamp set.  The flowers are from the "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set.

I designed the photo mat (pictured above) to have three large pockets for tucking away journaling, adding tags or extra photos.  I put tags in the side pockets just for these photos.

I designed this page with 5 pockets.  The darker blue printed square has 1 huge pocket open at the top.  The 4 small squares that are glued onto the darker blue printed square also form pockets that are open at the top!  So lots of pockets for adding extra photos, tags, etc.
Stamp Pads used on all layouts:  Outdoor Denium, Pacifica, Indian Corn Blue, Tulip, Goldrush, Honey, and Desert Sand
