MOTHER'S DAY TRIBUTE & A GIFT FOR YOU!!!!

I LOVE MY MOTHER. She is my best friend. It is because of her that I am the person that I am today. It is because of her that I am a Christian because she raised me in church and taught me about Jesus. Some of my earliest memories are of her practicing to teach Sunday School and Children's Church...using flannel graph...and my dad sitting in his recliner listening. I have loved God with all of my heart for as long as I can remember. I got saved when I was 4 or 5 years old and from that day forward I have been in love with Him. No, I have not always been perfect.  I have stumbled many times along this journey, but I have never quit and my love for God has never diminished.  I owe it to my precious mother.  Thank You Mama! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.  I know Mother's Day is not always a happy occasion for everyone and if that is the case for you I pray that you will find comfort in  God to get you though this day.  He has been my source of strength through many difficult times in my life. A CUP OF TEA

"A mother's love is like a cup of tea....

they are always there to comfort you." 

 

These are the 4 pages I  designed and assembled for everyone to make at the May Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. Everyone gets a complete package of the Mini-Medley Accents Pacifica Collection (Collection Contents: 1 - Frame, 2 - Square Tags, 2 - Slider Tabs, 8 - Buttons, 6 - Bigger Brads, 12 - Brads, 1 yd. Ribbon). All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit.  You can order a workshop kit, if you do not live local for $20 + shipping.

I used the Pemberley Paper Pack to make all of layouts.  The spoon was heat embossed using the VersaMark Ink Pad and Silver Embossing Powder.  The VersaMark Ink Pad lasts a loooong time!  I have had mine for several years without adding more ink to it! 

 

The teacups and spoon are from the "A Sip" stamp set. The flowers on this page are from the "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set.

Baroque Alphabet (includes 30 stamps 1.5" tall).  The flourishes are from the "You and Me" stamp set.....this was a limited edition stamp set.

The metal frame around the "M" is from the Mini-Medley Accents Pacifica Collection.

The teapot and teacups on this page are from the "Tea Time" stamp set.  The flowers are from the "Card Word Puzzle" stamp set.

I designed the photo mat (pictured above) to have three large pockets for tucking away journaling, adding tags or extra photos.  I put tags in the side pockets just for these photos.

I designed this page with 5 pockets.  The darker blue printed square has 1 huge pocket open at the top.  The 4 small squares that are glued onto the darker blue printed square also form pockets that are open at the top!  So lots of pockets for adding extra photos, tags, etc.

Stamp Pads used on all layouts:  Outdoor Denium, Pacifica, Indian Corn Blue, Tulip, Goldrush, Honey, and Desert Sand

MY FAVORITE SCRAPBOOK LAYOUTS THIS YEAR!!!

So far, these are my favorite workshop/class layouts this year!!! They are the tw0 pages that everyone who attends one of my Workshops in May will be making the night of the workshop. Everything is supplied, except you will need to bring your favorite adhesive and scissors.

I used Cocoa ink and the "black stubble tool" from the texture tools on the cardstock before I stamped the images onto the cardstock. I used the Tailor-Made, Stitched Together and Delightful Things stamp sets.

The buttons are from the Pink Assortment and Blue Assortment. There are 72 buttons in a package and they come in various sizes and shapes. 

The doily shaped image pictured below is from the SIMPLE MEMORIES stamp set.

Following are the 4 pre-made/printed pages that are included in this workshop...

I used the two pre-printed pages (pictured above) to make a 6" x 6" accordian album. You can see the accordian album in the following post.

These are the 2 sheets of cardstock stickers included in this workshop/class...

In this workshop you will get the 2 pages you will make the night of the workshop, 4 pre-made/printed pages (pictured above), two 12"x6" sheets of cardstock stickers, one 12" x 12" printed paper and any other left over papers.
