BUILDING A KID'S TOWN

 

I have been MIA (missing in action) for a while.  Bet you didn't know I was handy with a saw and drill! I have been working on a project for our Children's Church.  This is a sneak peak of what I have been up to lately.  This is the beginning of our Kid's Town. 

Can you guess what this will be?  Probably not.  It is going to be a florist!  How do you like those DIY Shutters? They were easy peasy to make! I went to buy some shutters and they were so expensive. So, I put my thinking cap on and this is what I came up with to make my own at only a fraction of the cost of real shutters.  YAY!  Will share more about that later.

Can you guess this one?  hmmm...someone asked if it was going to be a church. Nope. It is going to be the Town Hall (Courthouse/City Hall). There is a brick second story to this building.  There will be a door between the columns.



I am sure a number of you have guessed what this will be....a PIZZA stand! 

There's still a lot more to be done to these three buildings and more buildings to be constructed! So, check back for an update! Now off to the church to get to work.  Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
