COLORING & JOURNALING BIBLES - INSPIRE BIBLE

Have you seen the new Coloring and Journaling Bibles? There are images already in the Bible ready to color! I have not seen them in stores, just online. They will not be available from publishers until March. What do you think?
Inspire is a new single-column, wide-margin New Living Translation Bible that will be a cherished resource for creative art journaling.
The Inspire Bible has over 400 beautiful line-art illustrations spread throughout the Bible.
Full-page and partial-page Scripture art is attractively displayed throughout the Bible, and the illustrations can be colored in to make each Bible unique, colorful, and customizable.

Every page of Scripture has two-inch-wide margins, with either Scripture line-art or ruled space for writing notes and reflections, or to draw and create

Inspire Bible editions will also be released in the King James Version through Christian Art Publishers!

  2. Hi Shelsea,

The illustrated coloring Bibles will not be available until March 22. You will be able to purchase them at any Christian bookstores or their websites. You Can pre-order at Overstock.com, Christianbook.com, Barnes & Noble, Target, Amazon and other places.

The Christian Bookstores have regular Journaling Bibles in stock now, if you want one that does NOT have the illustrated drawings already in them for you to color. They have no drawings in them whatsoever. They have blank space on the outer edges of each page with lines for you to write notes, etc. You can do your own drawings and coloring in that space.

You will have to wait until March, if you want the Bibles with drawings already in them ready for you to color.

    Hope this helps.

  5. This bible has really thin sheets. What do you use to color in the drawings? Or do you just learn to live with the bleed through of pens? ;)

    1. If you use colored pencils it does not bleed. I have also prepped the page with Jesso but it changes the texture of the page. The bleed through is not too bad.

  8. I just got one from my stepdaughter for Christmas and I love it! I bought some "Micron" fine color pen set and the same 3 brush set, which do not bleed through the thin pages. I love it!
