CARD SWAP SENT

These are the cards I made for Marilda for the NEWBIE CARD SWAP in the Mini Album Swaps fb group.  We were to make 3 cards...a 5" x 7", 4" x 6" and 4" x 4" card with matching envelopes for our assigned swap partner.
The above card is a 4x6.  I used "Sweetheart" a retired paper from CTMH.  The stamped image is "Light the Night" by Penny Black.  I used colored pencils to color the image. I added a little gem in her hair and to the center of the paper flower.
The Love card was made using "Silhouette" papers, also retired long ago from CTMH.  The hearts and word "love" on the card and envelope were stamped using "Heartfelt" also an old retired stamp set from CTMH. I fussy cut the stamped word "love" to add to the card.
This is a 4" x 4" card.  This cute little bear is by Sassy Cheryl's Digital stamps from 2010.  It was colored with markers.  I added gold Stickles to the center of the flowers.
The bee on the envelope was stamped using "A Little Bee" an older retired stamp set from CTMH.

Following are some of the extra goodies I included in the package with the 3 cards I sent to my swap partner....
A 3" x 3" card made using retired papers and stamps by CTMH, I think.

CARD SWAP RECEIVED

I am so excited about the cards and extra goodies I received from Marilda Herrera for the Newbies Card Swap in the Mini Album Swaps fb group. The selfie card was made using the "Picture Perfect" stamp set by SugarPea Designs. Marilda did an outstanding job coloring the stamped images on all 3 of the cards!
The above card is so gorgeous!  This stamped image is "Megan" ... a Julie Nutting Doll stamp.
The "hello" card is cute, but check out the matching envelope!  It has the word hello cut out or punched out and a piece of paper matching the paper on the card glued to the inside of the envelope behind where the word "hello" was cut out.

The adorable sushi chef card was made using the "Rice Rice Baby" stamp set by SugarPea Designs.
I haven't decided whether I will use this Dangle/fob on my scissors or add it to a mini album.
Look at all of the die cuts, tags, flowers, embossed mats, and sequins, not to mention the Glitter Glue, Gelly Roll Pen and Ribbon!!!  Marilda was so generous with all of the extra goodies.  THANK YOU Marilda!!!!

SWEET DREAMS SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

Tuesday, I shared a 2 page layout that I made for my friend's baby scrapbook.  Today I am sharing another 2 page layout I made for her baby album.
The flowers were stamped, cut out, then attached to the layout using a brad in the center of each flower.  The flower stamps were from the Delight In Everything stamp set, an older retired Close to My Heart stamp set.
I used chipboard letters to add interest and dimension to the layouts.
I added a pieces of crochet lace under the photo mat and the bottom of the page.

BABY BUTTERFLY KISSES SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

I made this layout for a friend's scrapbook for her baby.  This layout was made with "Butterfly Kisses" in mind.  I formed a pocket behind the photo mat on the right-hand layout(pictured above).  I like adding pockets to layouts because they are a great way to add more pictures, memorabilia or journaling.
The letters "BABY" were raised off the page using foam tape to give dimension.
I applied the 2nd Generation Stamping technique (pictured above) using a butterfly stamp set.
I embossed the butterfly (pictured above) in Hydrangea ink, then colored in the white spaces with a Cotton Candy marker.  I cut it out and attached it to the layout using Pop Dots.

I hope you have been inspired!  Be sure to leave me a comment.  Comments are always loved and appreciated!

LA BELLE VIE

Hi everybody!!! Thank you for stopping by again. If you like what you see and you could leave some love with a few comments it would be gratefully appreciated. (Click on photos to see up-close) I cut the shaped mat with my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutting Machine.

These are the 4 pages I designed and assembled for everyone to make at the September Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit. You can order a workshop kit for $20 (+ shipping, if you do not live local).

These layouts were made with the La Belle Vie Paper Pack.  The floursies are from the La Belle Vie My Stckease pack.  The frame is stamped from the "Jardin" 7 piece stamp set.  The frames were stamped with the "Saddle" stamp pad and cut out.  I made a pocket behind the photo mat to tuck one of the stamped frames for private journaling.

I left the top space to add a title and the space under the photo for journaling.  A 12"x12" paper stip was cut in half to go above and below the 4x6 photo on the right of the layout pictured above.  The edges of the pink cardstock are inked with "Saddle" stamp pad.

Close-up of the strips above and below the photo.
The butterfly and tickets are from the La Belle Vie My Stickease pack.  The tickets were stuck directly on the layout.  I left pockets behind the photo mats.

The butterfly is from the La Belle Vie My Stickease pack.  The butterfly sticker was stuck to a piece of cardstock, then cut out with scissors.  I added "Stardust" Glitz Glitter Gel to the edges of the butterfly stcker, then glued just the center of the butterfly to the layout.

The framed "Life is Beautiful" image is a sticker and is raised from the page using 3D Foam Tape.  I put the sticker on a piece of cardtsock, then cut it out with scissors.  It is not shown in this photo, but I inked the edges of this sticker with a sponge dauber using the "Saddle" CTMH Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. Then, I attached it to the layout using the 3D Foam tape.

TIMELESS CHARM

(Click on the photos to see them up-close.)

These are the 4 pages I put together for everyone to make at the March Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. Everyone gets a complete package of the Timeless Charms. All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit.

Products Used:  Timeless Charms; 12"x12" Florentine Paper Pack; Simple Memories stamp set; Family Love stamp set;  Colonial White cardstock; Stamp pads: Indian Corn Blue, Twilight, Creme Brulee, Chocolate, Black

I distressed the edges of the layouts with an Edge Distresser, tearing and inking.

Before anyone gets upset, I did not tear pages out of a usable Bible.  I used pages from an old worn out Bible that I got at a yardsale.  The Bible has been colored in, pages missing, torn, written in, etc.

The circle on this layout is hand-stitched using embroidery floss.  "TIMELESS" is a metal charm.

The doilies were stamped using the Simple Memories stamp set.

The above framed sentiment was stamped using a stamp from the Family Love stamp set.
Timeless Charms (picture above) comes in a package of 5 embossed adhesive-backed metal charms: 3 with epoxy design and rhinestone and 2 without; approximately 2 ½" x 1 ½".  I have a few of these on hand, if you would like to purchase a pack.

I hope you have been inspired!  Be sure to leave me a comment, if you can.  Comments are always loved and appreciated!
