SWEET THING

The stamp I used is "Sweet Thing." I used two different types of cardstock to color on, so that I could compare which type of carstock I like coloring on best, using Noir markers.  The image above was colored using Close To My Heart cardstock and it did best out of the two cardstocks I tried.  I plan to test more cardstock soon.

I colored the cupcake icing a darker color on this image than I did on the first image.  You can see that the marker bled on this image, whereas it did not on the first image that I colored using the Close To My Heart cardstock.

CARD I MADE FOR MY SWEETHEART

This is the card I made for my sweetheart for Valentine's Day!  The stamp is "Sweetheart Marci".  I colored the stamped image using colored pencils.  The sentiment "Happy Valentine's Day" is from the Mad About You stamp set.  I heat embossed the sentiment using Gold Embossing Powder.  The ribbon is a retired ribbon from CTMH.

SUPER EASY 6x6 ACCORDIAN ALBUM

This 6" x 6" My Creations Memory Showcase (Accordian album) was so easy a Caveman could make it! The 6x6 album is only $3.95!!!! All I used was two 12" x 12" pre-printed layout pages from the Level 1 Mayberry Scrapbooking Kit. To prepare the Accordian Album I painted the edges of the album covers and pages with a chocolate brown acrylic paint. It is not necessary to paint the edges of the album, it will still look great left white. Next, I cut each of the two pre-printed pages into four 6" x 6" squares. I glued one of the squares to each of the covers and pages. One of the squares had no pattern/print on it, so I used it on the back cover and stamped a stitched border aroud it. I stamped the dress form to the first page of the album and added the rose ribbon to the cover. This is the base of my album. It is now ready to add photos and extra stamped images and other embellishments, if desired!

The "Pink Collection" Designer Ribbon is one of my favorites. I used Liquid Glass to glue the ribbon to the album cover.

AUTUMN Hive Creative Challenge

I made this tag with the Autumn Season in mind as my inspiration. The three images were stamped using a retired Close To My Heart stamp set with VersaMark and then embossed with the CTMH Black Embossing Powder. I used Acrylic paints in colors that reminded me of the autumn season and to give my tag an antiqued look. I glued my tag to a printed piece of cardstock that I cut in the tag shape. Then, I attached an eyelet and added the ribbon. I added a Prima flower to the handle of the purse and glued a rhinestone in the center of the flower.

FIRST BIRTHDAY

These layout are some of the layouts from an album that I helped a friend (Sue Lynn) put together of her granddaughter's first birthday. She wants to make an album every year of her birthday.

I punched the photo corners from glitter cardstock. It added the perfect touch to this layout.

I love this two page layout. Lots of glitter and bling!

Love the flower and buttons on this layout and the mats cut from the glitter cardstock.

I used one of our (Close To My Heart) retired stamp sets to make the title for this layout..."Candy". It is stamped using CTMH's Hollyhock ink pad.

I inked the edges of the photo mats with the Hollyhock ink pad.

Photos do not do this page justice. It is my favorite page in the album! It is so girly with the pearls, rhinestones, glitter, etc. I use a scallop punch to make the scalloped border around the mat. The two photo corners are cut from glitter cardstock.
