BABY BUTTERFLY KISSES SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

I made this layout for a friend's scrapbook for her baby.  This layout was made with "Butterfly Kisses" in mind.  I formed a pocket behind the photo mat on the right-hand layout(pictured above).  I like adding pockets to layouts because they are a great way to add more pictures, memorabilia or journaling.

The letters "BABY" were raised off the page using foam tape to give dimension.

I applied the 2nd Generation Stamping technique (pictured above) using a butterfly stamp set.

I embossed the butterfly (pictured above) in Hydrangea ink, then colored in the white spaces with a Cotton Candy marker.  I cut it out and attached it to the layout using Pop Dots.

LA BELLE VIE

Hi everybody!!! Thank you for stopping by again. If you like what you see and you could leave some love with a few comments it would be gratefully appreciated. (Click on photos to see up-close) I cut the shaped mat with my Pazzles Inspiration Creative Cutting Machine.

 

These are the 4 pages I designed and assembled for everyone to make at the September Workshop. Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit. You can order a workshop kit for $20 (+ shipping, if you do not live local).

 

These layouts were made with the La Belle Vie Paper Pack.  The floursies are from the La Belle Vie My Stckease pack.  The frame is stamped from the "Jardin" 7 piece stamp set.  The frames were stamped with the "Saddle" stamp pad and cut out.  I made a pocket behind the photo mat to tuck one of the stamped frames for private journaling.

 

I left the top space to add a title and the space under the photo for journaling.  A 12"x12" paper stip was cut in half to go above and below the 4x6 photo on the right of the layout pictured above.  The edges of the pink cardstock are inked with "Saddle" stamp pad.

The butterfly and tickets are from the La Belle Vie My Stickease pack.  The tickets were stuck directly on the layout.  I left pockets behind the photo mats.

 

The butterfly is from the La Belle Vie My Stickease pack.  The butterfly sticker was stuck to a piece of cardstock, then cut out with scissors.  I added "Stardust" Glitz Glitter Gel to the edges of the butterfly stcker, then glued just the center of the butterfly to the layout.

 

The framed "Life is Beautiful" image is a sticker and is raised from the page using 3D Foam Tape.  I put the sticker on a piece of cardtsock, then cut it out with scissors.  It is not shown in this photo, but I inked the edges of this sticker with a sponge dauber using the "Saddle" CTMH Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad. Then, I attached it to the layout using the 3D Foam tape.

10 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT YOU

These are the 4 pages I put together for everyone to make at the Februaury Workshop.  Everything to make all 4 pages is provided at the workshop. Everyone gets a complete package of the Marks Passages epoxy clips. All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed. The cost of the workshop is $20 this includes the cost of your kit.

Products used: Roxie Paper Pack; 10 Things stamp set; Mad About You stamp set; Chocolate Alphabet Small stamp set; Adore stamp set; Black and Colonial White Cardstock; Stamp Pads: Smoothie, Tulip and Black; Marks Passages epoxy clips.

The white square on the black cardstock was created by dry embossing and sanding.  The edges of the patterend cardstock (2 strips in center of layout) were sanded to reveal the white inner core.  I love this look!  I cut a piece of patterned Desert Sand cardstock to use as a photo mat.  I left the top of the mat open to form a pocket behind the mat to add more photos or journaling. 

The "Love" clip is from the Marks Passages epoxy clips set.  Marks Passages is no longer available from CTMH, but I have 1 set for sale at $3 + shipping. 

I made the 10-Things pocket and tags using the 10-Things stamp set and Chocolate Alphabet Small stamp set.

The lines on the black cardstock were made by scoring the cardstock using a Dry Embossing/Scoring Stylus and the groove in my Euro Personal Paper Trimmer  as a guide.

I made the flowers using a 2" Scallop Circle Punch and 1 1/4" Circle Punch.

  

The 3 hearts at the top of this layout were stamped using the Mad About You stamp set on Colonial White Cardstock.  I cut he Zebra printed cardstock to use as a photo mat, but it also serves as a pocket to add additional photos and/or journaling.

I have 1 Mad About You stamp set available for sale for $12 (retail $17.97) + $2 shipping (USA only). It is no longer available from Close To My Heart. This stamp set comes on a 6"x6" carrier sheet in a heavy plastic envelope with a snap closure.

The tag on the layout pictured above is also from the Mad About You stamp set.  The heart was stamped using the Adore stamp set.  I love this heart stamp!  The Desert Sand cardtock was left open at the top to form a pocket to add extra photos and/or journaling.

The clip is from the Marks Passages epoxy clips set (pictured below).  They come in a set of 6. Marks Passages is no longer available from CTMH, but I have 1 set for sale at $3 + shipping.
