SUPER EASY TO MAKE OREO CHEESECAKE

Two of my favorite things are Oreo Cookies and Cheesecake.  Combining the two has all the makings of a heavenly dessert!!!!  This is probably one of the easiest to make recipes you will ever use.  Thank you to my niece, Lacey for sharing this recipe with me.

I made this for the Adult Christmas Party at our church and plan on making it again real soon.

OREO CHEESECAKE RECIPE

16 ounce pkg. Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Flavoring
2 Eggs
18 Oreo Cookies
4 - 5 crushed Oreo Cookies
18 cupcake liners

Mix Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Sugar and Vanilla in a bowl with an electric mixer.

Then.... Add 2 Eggs to above and Mix well.

Put cupcake liners into muffin pan.  Place 1 Oreo in each cupcake liner.

Spoon Cheesecake batter over each Oreo, filling the cupcake liner almost to top of liner.

Sprinkle crumbled Oreo's on top of each.

Bake at 275 degrees for 22 minutes.

Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving.

I will be sharing another favorite Oreo recipe of mine soon, so be sure to visit my blog again for that recipe.

If you make this be sure to leave me a comment and let me know how you liked it.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Every year we have an Adult Christmas Party at our church with Ham, Turkey, Fried Chicken, all the fixings, Christmas music, games, fun and lots of laughter.

This event was beautifully decorated by Tara & Clyde Harper, Jake (Tara & Clyde's grandson), Deborah Williams, and Patty & Emory Roan.
The centerpieces  were beautiful, but so simple to make.  The base is a goblet with a bowl sitting on top. Christmas bulbs were added along with beaded garland.

I made this wreath using 3 paper mache angels as the focal point.  This is a HUGE wreath.
Check back for photos of our Ladies Snowman themed Christmas Party that I will be posting soon.  Be sure to check out the other themed parties here on my blog too.  poinsettia, garland, icicle lights, Christmas Wreath, stars, centerpieces, tablescape

SANDPAPER - WHEN PEOPLE HURT YOU...

"When people hurt you over and over, think of them like sandpaper. They may scratch and hurt you a bit, but in the end, you end up polished and they end up useless."  Author Unknown

PICNIC THEMED SECRET SISTER / PAL SALAD DINNER & NAME REVEAL

This was our 2015 Broxton Church of God Secret Sister (Secret Pal) Salad Dinner and Name Revealing.  Secret Sisters is always so exciting and so much fun!!!
Every year we have a Secret Sister group for only one month... the month of June.  Any ladies who want to participate signs-up and we draw names. This year we had 12 ladies to participate.  We secretly give gifts, cards, pray for our secret sister, etc. for one month.  Most ladies bring a gift to church for their Secret Sister each week (even though it's not required) since it only lasts for one month.
At the end of the month, we have a meal together and exchange one final gift revealing our true identity.  We had a Salad Dinner for our Name Revealing on July 2.  Each lady signed up to bring a different type of salad.
Bonnie Brown and I set up and decorated with a Picnic theme.
Have you ever had Salad in a jar?  Pat Hester made an individual Salad in a jar for each lady.  I took mine home, put it in the fridge and ate it several days later and it was just as fresh as if it had just been made!
See that GIANT POLKA DOT BAG?  That was the gift that my Secret Sister gave me!  Oh my gosh!  It was like getting up on Christmas morning and finding underneath the tree loaded with presents!  I think she tried to put everything I had written on my Secret Sister questionnaire in that bag.  There was a HUGE purse and it was filled with LOTS of presents.  It was unreal.  This lady had way over done it, to say the least!

SHOE THEMED PARTY Table # 9

This was a SHOE themed party - event we had at Broxton Church of God.  All of the tables were decorated with the shoe theme in mind, but each table was decorated different.  This table was hosted by Brittany Nettles and Shirley Phillips.
Brittany and Shirley were really thinking outside the box when they decided to decorate their table with HORSESHOES!  They were very surprised when another hostess decorated her table with horseshoes too, but they looked totally different.  She used a burlap Sunflower centerpiece, burlap place mats and burlap chair back decor (chair covers).

There were 9 tables with 8 ladies per table.  Each table was decorated by a different hostess.  There were table favors and a door prize at each table.  This event was held on March 24, 2015.

Read more details about the event here: What Kind of Shoe Are You?

You can see photos of the other 8 tables here on my blog!

The tiny shoes on top of the candle holders are so cute!
For favors each lady received a bag of Hershey's Kisses and there was a framed scripture that went with the shoe theme at each place setting.

Tiny shoes attached to sequin ribbon was used as napkin rings.
There was a different handcrafted scripture college put into a frame at each place setting.  The scriptures went along with the "Shoe" theme of the party.

SHOE THEMED PARTY Table # 7

This was one of the many tables that was decorated for a Women's Ministry shoe themed party - event we had at Broxton Church of God.  All of the tables were decorated with the shoe theme in mind, but each table was decorated different.  This table was hosted by Sandra Mingledorff.
The red and black shoes that Sandra used in the center of this table are Scotch Tape Dispensers!  She added the bows to decorate the shoe tape dispensers.
Sandra made the red tulle/netting overlay on the table.  It turned out beautiful!
The shoe name/place setting cards were designed by Sandra and printed from her computer.
