EMBOSSING IS BOSS

I love how the chevron pattern on the front of this mini album was created with cardstock that was embossed using on of Close To My Heart's new embossing folders.

CTMH February Stamp of the Month (set of 9 stamps) "WILD ABOUT LOVE" reminds me of a song.  If you already guessed "What Does the Fox Say" you are right!

Pictured above is the Bluebird book.  I really like that all you have to do is add pictures! This album has 60 – 10" × 7" printed cardstock-weight designed pages, it is hardcover with resist pattern and wire-bound. 12 of the 60 pages are pictured above, although this picture does not do the book justice.

WENDY'S FROSTY ICE-CREAM HOMEMADE

I have been make this special treat for my family for the past 10 years!  We love it and YES!  It does taste like Wendy's Frosty!

HOMEMADE WENDY'S FROSTY ICE-CREAM

Directions for making in 6 quart churn...
1 can Condensed Sweetened Milk (I always use Eagle Brand)
*1 Gallon Chocolate Milk (use only 1/2 gallon if using smaller churn)
16 oz. Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed (use 8 oz. for smaller churn)

I alway mix the condensed milk and thawed cool whip in a bowl first, then pour it in the churn.  Pour Chocolate Milk in the churn slowly, mixing it as you pour it in.

*CAUTION: Don't go for the cheaper brands of Cocolate Milk.  I always use the richest Chocolate Milk I can find...no matter the cost.  It does make a difference in the taste.

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL

 

THOU SHALT NOT STEAL...Sunday, I was checking out at Big Lots and the cashier handed me back a $20 bill and told me I had given her an extra $20 by mistake.  I was thinking...I don't think so, but on the chance that I did I stuck it in my purse. When I got home I took out my receipts to see how much money I had spent, then I counted the money in my wallet and I felt certain that I had $20 more than I should have had. So, the next morning I called Big Lots and asked for the manager and asked if they had a register to come up short the day before. I did not tell her how much money it was. She checked and said, "Yes, it was short $20." I told her I had the $20 and I would bring it back that night. When I took it back, the girl who mistakenly gave me the $20 back was there and she thanked me for returning the $20.00. The manager thanked me as well. As I was walking away, I overheard them talking about what had just happened and they could not believe someone would be that honest. In my opinion, if I had kept the money it would have been the same as stealing. We should always do the right thing. Our actions speak louder than our words. What we do not only effects us but the world around us.

Did you guess what the Tussie Mussie (Goodie - Favor bag) was made out of?  If you guessed a toilet tissue paper roll, then you are right!  All you have to do is cover the outside of the TP Roll with scrapbooking paper, then cover the inside.  Next, you add some glue to the inside bottom edge of your TP Roll and pinch the bottom of the TP Roll together to glue it shut.  I made a 5 minute video on how to make a Tussie Mussie - Goodie Bag using a TP Roll on my YouTube Channel.  Be sure to check it out!
