MY CREATIONS CUBE

This is the first "My Creations Cube" I have ever decorated, but it want be my last! I love how it turned out. You can purchase your own cube to decorate for $4.95 on my website and don't forget that you will get a FREE $22.95 stamp set with a purchase of only $20 on my site during December! The photos on the cube are of my son and daughter-in-law when they were dating.

I added pink lace to the edge of the photo pocket.

I traced the shape of the hearts from a stamp from the "Love Language" stamp set onto Blush cardstock, then cut them out. I sanded the edges of the hearts.

I used a stamp from the "Adorable Backgrounds" stamp set and Chocolate stamp pad for the swirl print on the light pink paper. Adorable Backgrounds is one of my favorite and most used stamps. You can see the entire stamp set here: Adorable Backgrounds

I used the Versa Mark ink pad to stamp the butterfly onto "Blush" cardstock and embossed it with the Cocoa Embossing Powder.

The felt heart on the inside of the box is from the Whimsy HeartFelt Die-Cuts. You get three 12"x12" sheets of die-cuts in the set. Each sheet is a different color. These were $9.95, but you can get them on my website while supplies last for $5.95 here: Whimsy Die-Cuts

Thanks for sharing! I really like the fact that it is more than just a cube - that you can open and store some special momentos inside - hadn;t thought of that before.

I love you cube Debra. I ordered one and then didn't quite know what to do with it. Thanks for sharing it, you have inspired me.

How did you put it together...I don't see any string, or ribbon?

Christa, I used quilting thread, then inked the edges of the cube and the thread with a Chocolate stamp pad. Lastly, I glued my pages and cardstock to cover the thread.
