A JOLLY HAPPY SOUL WITH A CORN COB PIPE & A BUTTON NOSE & TWO EYES MADE OF COAL...

This snowman is a lapel pin.  I made it using a mini-straw hat, pipe cleaner, 2 pom-poms, acrylic paint pens, and a scrap of fabric.  Soooo quick and easy to make!

Another easy snowman to make.  Isn't he cute?  This snowman is made using a mini straw hat, 3 wood spools, a wood ball, acrylic paint, and a scrap of fabric. 

This snowman is made by making 2 yo-yo's, 3 black snaps, 2 black beads for eyes, an orange bead for the nose, and a scrap of fabric for the scarf. 

HOW TO MAKE A YO-YO.....

You make a yo-yo by cutting a circle out of fabric and stitching a running stitch around the edge of the circle. 

You pull the end of the thread causing the circle to gather in the center.  Tie it off and you have a yo-yo.  You will need to make 2...one for the head and one for the body.

SCRAPBOOK LAYOUTS FOR SEPTEMBER WORKSHOP

These photos do not do these layouts justice.  This paper packet was VERY hard to photograph!  These are the 4 pages (2 - two-page layouts) we will make at the September Scrapbooking Workshop, Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 P.M.

Everything to make all 4 pages will be provided at the workshop. All you need to bring is your adhesive and scissors. As always, I have extra adhesive and scissors on hand for you to purchase, if needed.  $20 must be paid by Wed, Aug. 24, so that I can order your workshop supplies.

I just know you will love these layouts as much as I do.  Click the photos to see them close-up.   I created these layouts for my monthly scrapbooking workshop using the  Sophia Level 1 kit.  They are the two pages that everyone who attends one of my Workshops in August will be making the night of the workshop. The photo on the above layout is in a Flip-Flap.  It lifts up revealing more photos.  Using 1 Flip-Flap on this layout allows you to put three 4"x6" photos on one mat where you would normally have only 1 photo!  How amazing is that?!!!!  The two mats shown without photos are large enough for up to a 4"x4" photo.

SUPER EASY 6x6 ACCORDIAN ALBUM

This 6" x 6" My Creations Memory Showcase (Accordian album) was so easy a Caveman could make it! The 6x6 album is only $3.95!!!! All I used was two 12" x 12" pre-printed layout pages from the Level 1 Mayberry Scrapbooking Kit. To prepare the Accordian Album I painted the edges of the album covers and pages with a chocolate brown acrylic paint. It is not necessary to paint the edges of the album, it will still look great left white. Next, I cut each of the two pre-printed pages into four 6" x 6" squares. I glued one of the squares to each of the covers and pages. One of the squares had no pattern/print on it, so I used it on the back cover and stamped a stitched border aroud it. I stamped the dress form to the first page of the album and added the rose ribbon to the cover. This is the base of my album. It is now ready to add photos and extra stamped images and other embellishments, if desired!

The "Pink Collection" Designer Ribbon is one of my favorites. I used Liquid Glass to glue the ribbon to the album cover.
