Storage Tip

I thought I would share an alternative storage idea that I recently ran across. I purchased these plastic storage jars for $10 for the set of three at a craft store. I recently saw wide mouth Ball Mason Jars about the same size as these at Wal-Mart for a little under $5 for a set of 4!!! The ball jars are found with the canning jars and had the silver lids too!

Scrapbookers Less Likely to Divorce

Father's Day Cascading Album Workshop

This project is really popular! EVERYONE that has seen this project in person has signed up and paid for the workshop!!! WooHooo! I am so excited. This is an awesome over 24" long (4"x4" pages) album that we will be making at my June Close To My Heart Workshop on Monday, June 9th at 6:00 PM. Everything will be pre-cut and ready to assemble. All you have to do is glue it together!!!

The cost of this Workshop is $10. Those who are not able to attend the workshop may ordered the kit ($10 + shipping) which includes everything you need to make the project, except adhesive.

May Mini Album Workshop

This Mini Album measures aprox. 5" x 4 1/4" closed; pages are aprox. 4" x 5". We will be making this album for our May Workshop on Tuesday, May 6th @ 6:00. Also, we will make some 2 page layouts, as part of this wokshop, which I will try to post photos of later.

FLOWER ARRANGEMENT I MADE

SNEAK PEEK OF PROJECT FOR APRIL CTMH WORKSHOP

The April Workshop will be Tuesday, April 22nd @ 6:00 PM. We will make this album which has 12 pages to hold those special photographs. The cost for making this album is only $10. The money must be paid in advance because I have limited spaces available. So, call or e-mail today to get your space reserved. The $10 covers the cost of supplies. I do not charge for class instruction. I will pre-cut the papers for you, so it will be super quick and easy to put together!

This album will make a great gift! You can make them for a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, a Baby Shower, etc.

If you can not make it to the workshop, you can get a kit with all of the pieces pre-cut for you and instructions included to make the Star Album for $10.....all you have to do is assemble it!

This album is made using Close to My Heart products: Enchanted Level 2 Paper Pack; Autumn Terracotta, Garden Green and Smokey Plum Cardstock and Lovely Lace Stamp Set. I sanded the edges of the cardstock to give it a distressed look.

CTMH MARCH WORKSHOP

We used the Serendipity Kit stamp set, papers, and die cuts for the my March CTMH Workshop. The Serendipity kit was an awesome deal that Close to My Heart put together. Everyone purchased the Serendipity kit for this workshop to make the three 2 page layouts. After making 6 layouts there was plenty of paper left in our kits to make even more layouts or other projects. That was an incredible deal for $20, since we got a stamp set and 3 sheets of die cuts with the kit too! You can click on the photos to see a larger view of them.






The buckle in the above picture was punched out of cardstock and embossed. Be sure to use the proper protective mat under your project when embossing. I just used a piece of paper and melted a small hole in my vinyl table top!!! LOL!!! I found it to be quite funny, since the table was mine.

FEBRUARY WORKSHOP

This Multi-Folding Card / Mini Album & 2 page layout was my Close To My Heart Workshop for February. Everyone ordered a Level 2 Paper Pack of their choice to make their Folding Album and layouts. No two albums looked the same. I wish I had taken photos of everyone's finished projects.
