FIRST BIRTHDAY

These layout are some of the layouts from an album that I helped a friend (Sue Lynn) put together of her granddaughter's first birthday. She wants to make an album every year of her birthday.

I punched the photo corners from glitter cardstock. It added the perfect touch to this layout.

I love this two page layout. Lots of glitter and bling!

Love the flower and buttons on this layout and the mats cut from the glitter cardstock.

I used one of our (Close To My Heart) retired stamp sets to make the title for this layout..."Candy". It is stamped using CTMH's Hollyhock ink pad.

I inked the edges of the photo mats with the Hollyhock ink pad.

Loving the ricrac ribbon on this page.

Photos do not do this page justice. It is my favorite page in the album! It is so girly with the pearls, rhinestones, glitter, etc. I use a scallop punch to make the scalloped border around the mat. The two photo corners are cut from glitter cardstock.

YUMMY!!!! CUPCAKE SPRINKLES!!!!

This stamp set (Cupcake Sprinkles D1336) is so yummy! It makes me wish I had a real cupcake to eat every time I use it!!! What do you think about the background of this card? This stamp set is Argyle D1325 . There are 4 background stamps in this set. Can you guess which side I started stamping the background on? Yup, it was the left side and I quickly figured out that I needed to stamp the grid first in Tulip ink Z2266, then I stamped the inside of the grid with Sorbet Z2164, last of all I stamped the open spaces that were left with Creme Brulee Z2167. I used the vase from "With Love" stamp set for the bottom of the cupcake, so that it would fit in the circle that I punched to use on this card. I used papers from "Daydream Level 2 Paper Pack" X7108B to stamp the top and bottom of the cup cake on and for the strip of paper in the center of the card. I clear embossed the top of the cupcake with Clear Detailed Embossing Powder Z821 , then I went around the edge of the top of the cupcake with a "Watermelon" marker Z2358 The bottom of the cupcake was stamped in "Watermelon" Z2158 too. The edges of the "Sweet Leaf" cardstock circle was inked with "Olive" Z2137 Card Size: 5"x7" Now that you have all the details, Go Make One!!!!

SCRAPBOOKING FOR THE 1ST TIME

I had a friend, Trina Davis, come over who has never scrapbooked. We had the best time scrapping, stamping and talking. Trina is so enjoyable to be around. This is the layout that Trina made from a page in the More To Adore Level 1 kit X7075A. The stamp set Pure Love C1270 was used to stamp the word LOVE and the stamp set Adorable D1183 was used to stamp Always & Forever and the flowers. The following ink stamp pads were used...Hollyhock Z2128, New England Ivy Z2135, and Blush Z2106.
