"The Crafting Queen" aka my mom has really done a great job with this one, but of course I think that about every new thing she makes.  Is this not gorgeous? I love it! This is my new favorite! Once again she used a PIZZA PAN as the base of her Wreath.  This can be used as a door hanger or wall hanging. The great thing is that it fits all decorating styles. DIY VINYL RECORD WALL ART COAT RACK

HOW COOL IS THIS????  This vinyl record rack is made using 3 records, 3 black doorstops with the rubber tips/ends removed and a 1" thick x 2" wide x ?" long board.  I added two picture hangers to the back to hang it on the wall.  This is for my sons music room.  I bought this at the Small Town Festival last weekend for $.50 cents!  WoooHooo!  He can change the records out for some that he likes, if he wants.  You couldn't even buy the door stops and wood for $.50 cents.

CREATING FASHIONISTA DECOR

This was my newest decorating project and I am thrilled with how it turned out. I have been working on updating the guest bath. The jumping off point for color choices was the sink....a pale green colored marble sink. The walls were old 80's wall paper board (in mauve and country blue) like you see in modular homes, which I painted white. The vanity and mirror frames were pine with a light stain, which I sanded and stained a dark cherry. The light fixture was a cheap ($6-7) dressing room type fixture with three bulbs. I replaced it with an updated nickel finished fixture, added a green shower curtain and towels, and a leaf print rug in front of the tub. It is all coming togther. I was in desperate need of some art work, but could not find what I wanted. So, I decided to make my own.....Hope you like it as much as I do!!!! I especially like the red pop of color. They are now hanging over the towel bar, next to the tub. I made them by cutting scrapbook paper to the desired size, then a wonderful man in our church cut the wood for me. I glued the scrapbook paper to the wood squares and let it dry overnight. Then, I painted the edges and sides. After the paint dried, I sealed it with a matte finished clear coat.
